Proposed Amendments to the Road Traffic Special Speed Limits Bye-laws 2018
In accordance with Section 9 of the Road Traffic Act 2004, due to the changes made to the N60 Breaffy Road as a result of the construction of the N5 Westport to Turlough Road Project, to improve safety for vulnerable road users and vehicles and to provide an appropriate road traffic speed for this new environment, the Proposed Amendments to the Mayo County Council Road Traffic Special Speed Limit Bye-Laws 2018 have been prepared and will be available for inspection during normal office hours (9:30am to 1pm and 2pm to 4:30pm) Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) from Tuesday, 31st January 2023 to Friday, 03 March 2023 (both dates inclusive) at the following locations:

Castlebar Municipal District Office, Ground Floor, Aras an Chontae, The Mall, Castlebar;

Road Design Office, Floor 2, Aras an Chontae, The Mall, Castlebar;

Mayo National Roads Office, Glenparke House, The Mall, Castlebar.

Limerick City and County Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 9 of the Road Traffic Act, 2004 (no.44 of 2004); as amended by Section 86 of the Road Traffic Act 2010 and having consulted with An Garda Siochána, hereby gives notice of its intention to make Speed Limit Bye-Laws in respect of the area comprising the administrative area of the County of Limerick.
Following on from a number of Speed Limit Appeals as per the Department of Transport Speed Limits Appeals Procedure the purpose of these Bye-Laws is to provide adjustments for speed limits at the following locations:

WICKLOW COUNTY COUNCIL
County Wicklow Road Traffic Special Speed Limit Bye-Laws of 2022
Wicklow County Council in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 9 of the Road Traffic Act, 2004 (No. 44 of 2004), as amended, hereby gives notice of its intention to make Special Speed Limit Bye-Laws in respect of certain national, regional and local roads within the administrative area of County Wicklow following a review of speed limits in accordance with the “Guidelines for Setting and Managing Speed Limits in Ireland” issued by the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport (March 2015).
The “Draft” Speed Limit Bye-Laws together with associated maps are available for inspection at Wicklow County Council Offices during normal office hours 9.00am to 5.00pm from Wednesday, 12th October, 2022 to Friday, 16th November, 2022* inclusive at the following locations:

DRAFT ROAD TRAFFIC SPECIAL SPEED LIMIT BYE-LAWS 2022 (30KM/H)
Limerick City and County Council has, in exercise of its powers under Section 9 of the Road Traffic Act, 2004 (no.44 of 2004); as amended by Section 86 of the Road Traffic Act 2010 and having consulted with An Garda Siochána, hereby gives notice of its intention to make Speed Limit Bye-Laws in respect of the area comprising the administrative area of the County of Limerick.
The purpose of these Bye-Laws is to provide for special speed limits for housing estates through the establishment of Slow Zones (30 km/h).
