Proposed Amendment to the Road Traffic (Special Speed Limits) County Mayo Bye-Laws 2018

 

In accordance with Section 9 of the Road Traffic Act 2004, for the purpose of maintaining consistency along the improved section of the N26 Swinford to Foxford Road, and in the interest of road safety and efficiency of the road network, a proposed amendment to the ‘Road Traffic (Special Speed Limits) County Mayo Bye-Laws 2018’ has been prepared and will be available for inspection during normal office hours (9:30am to 1pm and 2pm to 4:30pm) Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) from Monday 20th June 2022 to Wednesday 20th July 2022 (both dates inclusive) at the following locations:

  • Swinford District Office, Station Road, Swinford;

  • Road Design Office, Floor 2, Aras an Chontae, The Mall, Castlebar;

  • Mayo National Roads Office, Glenpark House, The Mall, Castlebar.

The Proposed Amendments and accompanying maps will also be available to view online at www.mayo.ie  and www.speedlimits.ie during the above dates.

Submissions/observations on the Proposed Amendments may be made:

  • by post marked “Proposed Amendments to the Road Traffic (Special Speed Limits) County Mayo Bye-Laws 2018” to Administrative Officer, Roads Section, Mayo County Council, Aras an Chontae, The Mall, Castlebar, Co. Mayo, F23 WF90;

  • at the above District Offices.

In accordance with Section 9 of the Road Traffic Act 2004, as amended, the Draft Cork County Council Road Traffic Special Speed Limit Bye-Laws 2022 have been prepared and will be available for inspection during normal office hours (9.00 am to 5.00 pm) Monday to Friday from Friday 13th May to Monday 13th June, 2022 (both dates inclusive) at the following Council Offices: -

  • Annabella, Mallow

  • Courthouse, Fermoy

  • The Lodge, Midleton

  • Carrig House, Cobh

  • Church Road, Carrigaline

  • Railway Place, Bandon

  • Courthouse, Skibbereen

  • The Square, Bantry

  • Town Hall, Macroom

 

The Draft Bye-Laws and accompanying maps are also available to view online at www.corkcoco.ie

 

Submissions/observations on the Draft Bye-Laws may be made, ensuring that you quote the Ref No., in the following ways:-

  • by email to speedlimitreview@corkcoco.ie or

  • by post or hand delivery, marked “Cork County Council Road Traffic Speed Limit Bye-Laws” to Staff Officer, Roads Management & Development Unit, Annabella, Mallow, Co. Cork.

GALWAY COUNTY COUNCIL

 


Galway County Council in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 9 of the Road Traffic Act 2004 (No.44 of 2004), as amended and in the interest of public safety hereby gives notice of its intention to make Special Speed Limit Bye-Laws in respect of certain roads within the administrative area of the County of Galway.


Copies of the Draft Road Traffic (Special Speed Limits) County Galway Bye-Laws No. 1- 2021 including location maps, will be available for public inspection during normal office hours from:


Friday 19 November 2021

to

Monday, 20 December 2021

 

at the Infrastructure and Operations Section, Galway County Council, Aras an Chontae, Prospect Hill, Galway.

Cork City Council proposes to make Bye-Laws, setting Special Speed Limits in respect of public roads within the City of Cork in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 9 of the Road Traffic Act 2004 as amended by Section 22 of the Road Traffic Act 2016.


The draft Cork City Road Traffic (Special Speed Limit) Bye-Laws 2021 will be available for public inspection during the period Friday the 15th of October 2021 to Monday the 15th November 2021:

LIMERICK CITY & COUNTY COUNCIL

 

Limerick City and County Council intends to make Speed Limit Bye-laws in respect of the area comprising the administrative area of the County of Limerick. The purpose of these Bye-Laws is to accommodate for new roads in Croom County Limerick, namely the L-8070-1 and L-8070-2.
